Companions on the Journey
The Order of Saints Francis and Dominic (osfd) is currently under the protection of Nuestra Señora del Camino, which is organized under Sacred Wandering, as we continue the process of recognizing each charism’s strengths, so that we might help one another build a Church founded on the teachings of the +Christ. We are reworking our Constitution and Charism, as well as the order itself. We have opted for a more community–based model of service which focuses on the People of God, not the servants themselves.
Francis & Dominic
Saints Francis of Assisi and Dominic Guzman carried and preached the Gospel of Jesus, the +Christ, to all without regard. We uphold the Universal Citizenship of all of God’s Children. Our +Christ left us two Great Commandments: “Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and might" and "Love one another as I have loved you.” These commands are without reservation, qualification, or restriction; therefore, we work to fulfill the commands as genuinely as possible, relying constantly on the Love of the Father, the Grace of the +Son, and the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
